Hi,
I am using Windows Vista Home Premium. I downloaded uTorrent's recent version 1.8.3 Build 15772 from FileHippo site. I am experiencing a weird problem. uTorrent hangs when I add some torrent to it, even it hangs when I try to run the Port Forward check. The memory usage by uTorrent.exe process in Task Manager goes around 1 GB and I have to kill the process. I guess its hanging whenever its trying to connect through the default port.
Theres no dump file in the installed directory. I am using McAfee Enterprise 8.5i AV. I tried to disable the protection, disable the firewall and then run the uTorrent --> Same Problem.

About Process Explorer, you have to enable DLL mode (ctrl+d) after you select utorrent.exe. Edit your log.

Thanks for your reply. I have edited the original post by putting the correct process explorer log. For the HJT, somehow it is not showing me the log in the notepad so I took a screenshot of this and uploaded the image at the following link:

For HJT log, just open the .log/.txt with Notepad and copy/paste the contents directly into your post, it's more easy to read it.
Anyway there is a process injected in uTorrent:
lspcs.dll filter lsp Solid Oak 1.0.0.11
I think it's internet filter for kids. Try to remove it and check if uT continues to hang.
There are good reasons that's the culprit.
