Virus Guard is a free virus scanner powered by BitDefender's industry-leading Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware technology.
- It is a free product which operates within your µTorrent client and secures your torrent downloads.
- It integrates seamlessly with µTorrent and allows you to scan your downloads as soon as they have completed.
What does it do?
If Virus Guard detects a problem it will flag the related torrent and prompt you to take action. You should either run your full system security solution or else you may sign up for a free trial of BitDefender's system-wide security suite.
Virus Guard works well as a standalone security product to protect your µTorrent client, and also integrates smoothly with BitDefender's Internet Security 2010.
